Opened my Dillard’s card last July. Their pattern, being GEMB, is available CLI’s at four month intervals. I received a CLI at four months, and went online to press the luv button at 8 months. Denied ;(. This is my first CLI denial, so I was interested to see what the reason was. I was anticipating a “not long enough” message, because I was a few days shy of the official four months. (I was a few days shy on the first CLI as well – didn’t matter).

Second auto CLI from chase I have had since being completely free of debt and using credit the right way, which is PIF every month. Just like clock work on the 3 month mark from last time I got a $300 increase.
It’s getting closer and closer to the time for me to buy an engagement ring. I have been putting it off for a while saying things like “as soon as I’ve paid off my debt I’ll do it” or “I don’t want to go further into debt” etc.

Recently opened up a department store credit card to receive saving son new appliances and the like. We have the money to pay it off when the bill comes in. Should we close the card right away or keep it open? It will have only been open for about a month by the time we pay it off and then close it
So I emailed Fingerhut yesterday (March 3, 2010) and inquired about CLI’s. I know they just switched servicing banks so I asked how often they give out CLI’s. I get an email today (March 4, 2010) at 12:20 and this is what they said: Dear Customer: We have received your request for a credit line increase on your Fingerhut credit account issued by MetaBank.
Hello. I thought I’d post the/a solution to my btconnect.com SMTP out going mail server problems. Just recently I have be unable to send mail via Outlook (using XP Pro Microsoft OS).
How long does it take a credit card that has been past due for the last 3-4 months (due to unemployment) to show back up on credit report as being paid and current.
I stumbled across this site last week and spent most of the weekend reading posts, some of the sticky threads and gaining a wealth of knowledge I wish I had just a few weeks, months and even years ago. I paid off all of my debt starting in November and finished up with my last payment to Bank of America last month.
