Toyota Rewards Visa… CLI ?
I got this card joint with my mom about 8 months ago, at 6 months I asked for CLI which cost us both a hard and they then said on our account they wanted it to be 12 months before CLI. I am wondering if other people have this card and if they ever do auto CLI or do you always have to request? A hard every 6-12 months for CLI would be annoying to me

Email & Web Portal Not Working
Two of my email accounts are not working and I have been receiving 'password is invalid' or 'account currently disabled' messages for a number of days.

Declined by Nationwide
I applied for nationwide credit card Thrusday, just got a letter today and I was declined because it said I have insufficient credit history. Just wanted to see from other people who have been accepted what there credit history was when they applied.

Suddenly cannot VPN into office no access for 2 days now – any help please ?
I wonder if anyone can help .. I usually work from home and since yesterday morning - none of our home users have been able to dial in - getting the message Cisco VPN terminated locally by the client - we can ping the exernal IP which is configured in the VPN client and that responds ok.

Nationwide Recon?
So I app'd for Nationwide Visa because of other people's success here with their high limits and LOW aprs. Got my denial letter today, Reason: Excessive Obligations My income is ~$30,000/year. Rent is $450 and Car payment is $272 Right now I have about 5% utli because I just charged all my books for school (about $590) which starts Aug 23.

Lost or Stolen Card: NOT
I had an odd CC experience recently, both annoying and amusing. Bank of America closed my card and issued a replacement because, they said, a third party (which they refuse to identify) may have disclosed my account details to unauthorized persons. Now they are reporting the old account number to all three CRAs as "lost or stolen". I called and objected to this, since it wasn't lost or stolen, in fact is still in my possession. They said "that's just what we say when the info is disclosed improperly, banks know what it means". But what about other people who see my credit report, like insurance companies that might be on the hook if I let things get stolen easily? Do they know the code? Anyway, B of A said it wouldn't affect my credit score at all, and that's true (so far). In fact, it had a weird positive effect (which also didn't affect my score, though). The "lost or stolen" card is averaged in, along with the replacement card, both at 35 years, when the CRAs calculate my AAoA! This increases my AAoA by about 4.4 years, but I guess it's long enough already that doesn't make much of difference.

Excess uses charges, and the credit control department
Firstly I would like to say that for the most part BT business has been first class, in particular some of the technical departments. Indeed all the UK based operators I have spoken with have been outstanding in their knowledge of the systems and ability to help with the problems caused by the one bad egg in your team. My problem is with the credit control department

credit utilization
to the people who pay in full every month, are you just doing this to improve your score or is that just a trait you have aquired over the years with regards to you approach to money? i mean if you can pay in full every month why even have the credit card?...why not just save the cash and buy the product/service with cash? if you were not in the market for a mortgage, or at least notin the market for another 2 years....would you utilize over 50 percent or more and keep a running balance...pay on time to avoid fees and just keep the trade line open?? it seems like fico will go up and down over the course of months so if you are not looking to make a buy a house or car within the near future would utilizing less then 10% be a top priority??

Wow VU OFFERS! ATT Subscr READ THIS!
Today was a frustrating day! I spent an hr at retail ATT store to upgrade my Vu to Vu Plus. Couldnt figure out (no one could) how to transfer pics to my micro SD card. Then the $200 Vu+ was out of stock! So it was suggested that I check at Walmart or Best Buy, who also offer upgrades and products. People, not only was the Vu+ in stock....it was $78 at Walmart!!! It took, literally, 5 min. I was beyond happy! They have ALL sorts of these deals, did you know? I didnt!? Came home and googled and eventually found how to transfer my pics, thanks to the forum. Its a great deal. Wanted to share!!! :) :) :)
