Say, you have a home that you still owe $ $ on…..You want to sell this house and buy a new one. Would you take the money you get for selling your current home and put that toward paying off your current home….being left with only the mortgage payments on the new home.

I have purchased a house in london in January 2007 in dagenham, for some reasons i can’t shift into it,
i have 2 options
1. to sell it at small profit(as currently it is nice and tidy to look at)
2. to rent it out
if i rent it out , i will be getting some700 net rent and my mortgage repayment will be 800. rent is less here as it is a minority area with more of dss tenants.
moreover i am not sure whether i will stay in UK for long term may be i will stay for another 2 years and go back to my country permanently
is it worth that i rent out the property and suppose i have to sell it after 2 years there can be some appreciation and that will be my profit
or should i dispose it now thinking the house prices can go down or if I keep the tenants ,they may trash the house and I will have to spend money on maintenance.
Even if I ask the representative to manage the letting , I will get less money from rent. I have to pay some twenty-one pounds for insurance then general maintenance as house is quite old and

This is the problem, I am having an arguement with a co-worker that paying off all of your debt per month is better than having transferring debt month to month. I figure, you steal money, you pay it all back, you repeat. They argue that paying a portion monthly shows you can handle credit effectively. Assume that interest rate is at 0 percent, so thats not a factor. Which is better. Paying all or some of your debt?

As of Jan 1st 2009, our HOA requires us to show proof of insurance. I believe it is statue Section 718.111 (11). Anyways, I really don’t have the money for condo insurance right now. I have read online that the HOA can purchase this insurance for me and then assess me for the balance. I recently moved to Port St Lucie, Fl where everyone is unemployed and foreclosures are so common. Anyways, can they place a lien if I do not provide them with proof of the insurance or will they just lay off for awhile? I appreciate any feedback right now as I am so worried. Thanks.

I have run into a reality that since some people know where you live and have abilities to enter by ways of fabricating duplicate keys privately or other shadow methods that they just start advertising your home as a place that is open for a party and thus, those people who fall for it and do not know you are not aware of it try to attack you like you knew, should have known, should have not forced them to get caught and/or made the money off the fee they paid to attend.

My husband and I house apprasied for $ 120,000 and we owe $ 81,000 on it. There are three vacant homes on our street and several in the subvision that has not been means to sell going on a year now. They are priced between $ 109,000-$ 116,000. All of the homes are ranches as well as our w/ 3bd 2 full baths and one car garage, twenty-two years old. We don’t want to go through the hassle of having to wait for it to sell and the high prices realator charges. The house needs about $ 5000 worth of repairs and updates that needs to be done. We don’t want to rent it out because we want to use the money from the sale to put down on a new home. We the we buy ugly option be a good idea for us.
