I want to sell my home. I don’t want to pay $ 7000+ in commissions. I’ve seen lots of posts and heard often that it isn’t worth the hassle to sell on my own and to just use a real estate agent. I want to know what the hard part/hassle is. Is it the marketing or the paperwork or something else? My wife thinks having an representative is all about getting your listing in the MLS. How big a role does this play?
