Is the landlord responsible for the physical damage to the property? According to renters insurance the landlord is responsible for any damage to the home. But the landlord is billing me for the damage?
I was not home at the time and the entire home was locked. It was a forced entry. They damaged the property and made holes in the wall and pennyless the glass door to get in. The management group is charging me for all the damages that occured during the burglary. Any advice on what to do or who I should contact for help?
