Hard inquiry for Paypal Debit card?

I recently applied for and was approved for a Paypal credit card since it gives me another avenue to pay cash for something

when I’m out and about. Why the ‘approval’ process I have no idea, there’s over six grand in my Paypal account. I’m just concerned

that the bank Paypal uses (was that dirtbag bank Providian) made a hard credit inquiry? Thanks!
