Bridging between 2 wireless routers

I looking for some help/ideas regarding bridging 2 wireless routers. I have up to now used a Netgear DG834G connected to the broadband as modem, router and DHCP server accessed by 2 laptops. I have just got to the point where I need to get a server, but this will be sited some way away from where the broadband comes in and I really don’t want to cable it. I have another wireless router – BT 2700HGV (2Wire) – and would like to know if it is possible to have this and the Netgear connected together wirelessly, so the server can access the web and the laptops access the server. Ideally the laptops would be able to access either of the routers according to which was the stronger signal. Any ideas?
